"I had purchased a robe the year before my wedding for "getting ready photos" and I gained a bit of weight. I went to try it on a few days before the wedding and it would not close. I was devastated. I rush ordered a size up of the robe I originally ordered online and did not arrive on time. It was the day before my wedding, and I had spent five hours in stores trying to find something, ANYTHING to get ready in. I was sobbing in tears. There was nothing for a plus sized girl, not even just a nice PJ set I could wear. I asked a friend to call New Ivory Bridal as I knew they recently opened to see if they could fit me in that day, and if they had robes etc. and I was in luck as they had just opened the intimates side of their store. "I made an appt after talking with the Owner, Kristen, about wanting a new dress. I already have a dress from a different store that i bought many months ago, but I'm not in love with it. I also never got that bridal experience when I bought mine. It was very rushed, mundane. So, I just got home from New Ivory. WOW. I had 1:1 time with Amanda. I actually had the place to myself because it was midday during the week. She is so friendly and personable. She helped me try on lots of dresses, catered to what I wanted/budget. Then, we tried on THE ONE. It's out of my budget but man did I feel special in it. I'm thinking on buying it. But, regardless, the experience alone was worth going. Every gown is gorgeous. They really have lots of variety in sizing and design. The boutique itself is grand, upscale, and spotless. I loved my entire experience. Amanda made me feel worthy of her time and i felt so comfortable/at home in a place that caterers to plus size women. I will recommend to all my friends!"
