"My family has been coming to the Adirondacks for the last few years and every time we walk to the village square store to buy a souvenir. Unfortunately, this year the woman who was working at the counter was incredibly rude to my family. My child was having a hard time and was over stimulated, and while my husband was attempting to purchase something from this woman, she felt the need to yell at my child to stop screaming - which only scared my child further. This is only the 4th review I have ever written but it is completely unacceptable to scream at a child while a parent is already trying to console them. Sadly, we will no longer be visiting this establishment for our yearly ritual."

"Every year I go to the Adirondacks I always stop in this gift shop, the items for sale here are very well priced and very cool to. The owner is very friendly and reccomend anyone to shop here if they’re looking for a place to get souvenirs from."

"This is the best ADK Gift shop in the ENTIRE ADK Park - HANDS DOWN!! It is worth the drive to Eagle Bay! Best prices and a wide variety of tee-shirts, sweat shirts. My favorite are sunglasses with readers. Money is tight & your dollars will do further at the Village Square!"

"I personally found this to be the best souvenir store in the entire Inlet, Eagle Bay and Big Moose area. Maybe even Old Forge too because we didn’t like their merch and souvenirs as much at this place. (Sorry Old Forge, we still love ya!) Very complete and excellent selection of regional souvenirs, knick knacks, novelties, oddities and more!! My guy and I left with branded t-shirts and sweaters (very well-priced) and I’m not typically one to even glance at clothing, but the styles and options here stood out that much. Shout out to the gentleman running the Village Square, very amiable!"

"Excellent little store in Eagle Bay, NY between Old Forge and Inlet. The owner is super nice and sells souvenirs, clothing and essentials, like most other similar places, but also at a very fair price. I bought socks for hiking, a sweatshirt, hoodie and tee, and all were of good quality and functional for what I needed. Great store!"
