"Promika LLC is the maker of Adventure Plus flea treatments. A friend and I purchased these through MPD Direct on Amazon because they have (supposedly) exactly the same ingredients as Advantage 2 for much less money. We were both having a terrible flea problem about the time we started using these. We both did everything possible, including spraying our homes with Siphotrol (excellent, unrelated prodict) but couldn't get rid of the fleas. Months passed. I eventually switched to a specific collar that worked, and she eventually got something at the grocery store. But not until we'd spent about $250 on packages of the Adventure Plus. A few days ago she treated her dog just a week after the last treatment, and the next day, he was still crawling with fleas. What more proof do you need that the product doesn't contain any insecticide? Test it yourself. Moral of the story is that the product doesn't work at all. There is zero insecticide in it. Was it a year of manufacturing problems, or has the product always been trash, or is the problem MPD Direct, who is Amazon's only seller of this product and only sells this product (which seems like it must be affiliated with Promika)? I don't know, but this company's address is a UPS Store mail box, which seems just as hinky and suspect as the product. FYI, they've recently been acquired by Manna Pro out of Missouri, which sells some pretty good products, so if.you have a problem, maybe also contact them."

"The original ones I purchased last year I was told they was outdated(old orange colored) and shouldn't have been sold. I was sent replacements and they are worthless for fleas, doing good for ticks. I called to let them know and I was informed that they will not replace them or give me a refund for replacements! I DON'T RECOMMEND AND WILL INFORM EVERYONE OF HOW WORTHLESS THEY ARE AND HOW PROMIKA WILL NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCT!!!"
