"We just moved to Morganton and needed a new primary Dr. for my wife and I. We chose Dr. Rao and she has been so good to my wife and I. Although I’m sure she is super busy, she doesn’t show it or make you feel rushed. As new patients i was shocked how fast she caught up on all my issues. She discussed each issue and the medication being used to treat those issues. She will answer all your questions, and concerns in great detail. Over all GREAT Dr. I also have to say the staff has been great too. Very nice comfortable environment."

"Absolutely refused to give a 76 year old woman anything for pain who has 3 buldging disks in her back, awaiting a hip replacement (awaiting an allergy test for scheduling) and in need of a knee replacement (all on the same side). She has no history of narcotic use (or any other pain medications) and wanted to give her NSAIDS!!! She refuses to return calls. Her staff is less than knowledgeable and they only utilize CMA's. Here's a HIPPA lesson for YOU & YOUR STAFF (you CAN listen to someone talk about your patient and you CAN receive information about your patient.....that is NOT a violation!!! YOU just cannot speak about your patient without the proper paperwork in place). And btw, why was the proper paperwork NOT done and HIPPA not put in place from the beginning of her care (years ago), why were there NO CONTACTS on file for her (EVER). IF she collapsed in YOUR waiting room...which of her family members would you have contacted??? So, if all you need is a basic screening where THIS Doctor can utilize Dr.Google as her assistant...you should be fine. Otherwise, if you are in need of TRUE MEDICAL "CARE"..... Please do not waste your time here because you will NOT get the care you need or DESERVE!! My mother had ONE issue and to this day this so called doctor has never fixed it (and it's not the above pain issue which she could have and SHOULD HAVE treated). What good is calling yourself primary care physician if you are NOT willing to help your patients close the gap while waiting on testing and scheduling in times of need!! Livid doesn't begin to describe the feeling of my family towards this practice for FAILING my mother who has been a work horse with NO medical history her entire life. The ONE TIME she asks for HELP....YOU turn your back, tuck your tail, refuse to speak to her family because YOU KNOW YOU HAVE FAILED YOUR PATIENT AND YOUR PROFESSION PERIOD!!!! YOU ARE WORTHLESS."
