"Our first visit was last Saturday for breakfast. A WONDERFUL meal, experience, family owned and operated business with a superb staff. Best coffee that I have had. I enjoyed the rice and gravy as a side with my excellent omelette. Everyone enjoyed their breakfast choices. We will be back and we are glad that we found it based upon previous reviews."
"Got there at 1055 and they closed at 1100 that day and they still let us order and didn't rush at all. Friendly service and the food was amazing. Will be coming back. Hopefully, not as late as last time."
"I made the mistake of not noticing cash only so walked over to the gas station to get money out of the ATM to cover my meal. I don't think there's a warning on the door that they don't accept cards. Eggs were classic, hashbrowns seemed like rehydrated potato type (which I love), pecan waffle was so good with the liquid butter at the table, and syrup. The bacon was a bit too salty but was good when eaten in the same bite as other food. Service was great (except the cash issue). I understand that restaurants want to save money by not paying credit card fees. But why not just build it into the general price of everything like other restaurants? The price was a bit steep for it not being a chain restaurant or a fancy new building. I know inflation has changed prices, but it still seems way higher than the price for the same meal at another place. $16+"
"Still the best in town. Everything on the menu is good. Often it is crowded. The service is friendly and fast, considering the crowds. I recommend their Belgian waffle or their sausage omelet or the Philly steak omelet. Plan to spend $10 or sometimes less per plate including tip."
"If you happen to be driving in the morning through Albemarle, NC then this a must. Only open for breakfast. Don't be surprised there is a line, worth the wait. Great service provided by the waiting staff. Food was fresh, hot, and delicious. Prices are very good. In our group we had bologna(should contain steak in title) breakfast, philly cheese steak omelette, an bacon egg cheese omelette, and yes all were amazing. The hash browns were perfectly cooked."
