"My son started taking banjo lessons with Buck when he was four years old. I wasn’t sure how it was going to go with him being so young, but Buck was great with him. Buck made so many accommodations for him since he was and is still a small kid even now two years later, and the banjo can be difficult for him to hold and play comfortably at this age. He’s found creative ways to make managing the banjo comfortable for him. My son continues to play and look forward to his lessons and now my fourteen year old son has started playing with them as well. You can tell Buck really cares about his students and about the music he’s teaching. He also keeps my sons very entertained with his sense of humor and they love their lessons with him and looks forward to their time with him. Being from another state and not having any real ties here, this has been one of the few things that has made us feel at home. We are due to PCS, but luckily Buck does Skype lessons so they won’t miss out on their lessons and what has become an important part of their lives."
