"Ordered taken out this evening. This was our first time trying it out. I definitely give this place a 5/5 rating. The food was excellent. The stuff was very friendly & quick. The pulled pork sandwich had a great taste. And the moon pie bread pudding was just absolutely delicious. ! It’s so nice having some thing different in the area and even a bigger plus that the food is amazing. Definitely will be back."

"Finally! Food with flavor!!! We lived in Kansas City for years and have tried The famous BBQ restaurants in KC (Jack Stack, Arthur Bryants, Joe's KC BBQ, etc.). This place is hands down the best! It's not just the meat. The sides are excellent too. Especially the beans with brisket! The staff are friendly and attentive and the atmosphere is terrific."

"Went during their soft opening & I was hooked. Even my daughter who hates smoked food loved it. I'm not a Cornbread girl, it's usually dry, but there's was delicious and soft. The put beans are perfect mix of smoky and sweet. Smoked 1/4 chicken was perfect. We went back when they opened and we'll probably be there weekly. Price is great and it's in a beautiful scenic location. Chef Charles is a sweetie. He cares about his food"
