Reviews of Blue Beach Nail Inc
"After going here for more than 10 years for nails and then eyelashes, they've changed eyelash products because I never had a reaction previously with them, but since last night, my eyes for a second time reacted really badly. I went back today (eyelashes were put on yesterday), because of a new reaction to what they used, even though they assured me they now use stuff for sensitive eyes on me, they said it's my problem because I'm allergic and no refund or anything, but they'll remove the lashes... with the same substance to which they say they saw my eyes reacting. After my first reaction, when I asked if they changed products since doing my lashes with them pre-pandemic, they said it was the same stuff. But today the owner of the salon said she needs to get the "old" stuff back, she didn’t have it today... The first time in August, I gave them the benefit of the doubt. They removed the lashes (it was 2 weeks later, after I came back from vacation and by then my eyelids were scaling.... it was gross). I took a few months break and about 2 weeks ago decided to give the business another shot. First set made my eyes a little itchy, but not terrible. The woman who put them on said she avoided touching the glue to my lids since they originally said I had a reaction to glue the first time. Yesterday I had them remove the set from 2 weeks ago for a shorter length. Over night, one eyelid swelled so much I could see it (without a mirror), and feel it. When they saw my eyes reacting again, they told me it was from the cream lash remover, based on what the person removing/applying the new set told the owner. If the person applying the lash remover cream to my eyelids saw a reaction, why would she continue with an obvious irritant and why wouldn't she have me wash my face after removing the lashes to get the cream off my eyes?? Also, I've gotten eyelash extensions at a few other places for years, and this is THE ONLY PLACE where I had this sort of reaction, EVER, but because they say I'm the one who's allergic, I'm out $110, but to be generous, taking off the lashes with the same substance they say I'm recaticting to is how they'll help. I walked out."
"Ruined my nails. I went in for a gel nail remover and a manicure but they absolutely ruined my nails. They’re so thin then bend like a sheet of paper with polish ON!"
"This place looks nice but they hire inexperienced people I went for a pedicure and asked a few times for some one whow knows how to cean the corners of my toes yes No problem the girl I got couldn’t understand a word of English I explained to not cut me because I was on thinners it wasn’t even a minute later she cut me and I couldn’t stop bleeding the boss came Ofer and didn’t even offer an opology the rest of the pedicure was a disaster the girls was rattled this is unsanitary and then the boss charged me 53,00 I have been getting pedicure for 20 years this is the worst experience I ever had"
"Wonderful salon. Priced a little higher than most nail spas, however, their work is amazing and you don't have to come back as often. The service is always wonderful. Bio-gel all the way!"
