"I will be honest. I was happy with the way my hair looked when I left, however, I wasn’t happy when I found another hair salon who specializes in natural hair and she told me that they must’ve put something in my hair because it was no longer natural it was processed. I’ve been to this hair salon before a few times and the last time before this I did notice that when I wet my hair it didn’t go back to its normal state. When I shampooed it a lot of it got tangled and started falling out. If you don’t know how to care for black women’s natural hair I would respect you more if you would say “I can’t do your hair because ....”. Too much heat is being used on our hair. I’ve also heard that some of these places are putting chemicals in the shampoo to make our hair easier to manage. I will not be going back here and I hope they work on educating themselves about all hair types and how to not just style the hair but make sure they keep it healthy."

"Yesterday I went to do a perm in my hair which cost in average of 130 very pricey as I get charged in Brooklyn for a job well done and for 80 bucks. The reason why I went here was because I couldn’t get to Brooklyn on time. I have done perms in my hair many times and I know the process and what needs to get done for a job well done. It also never took any hair dresser in the past over 6 hours to do a perm in my hair. She had me sitting down in the chair for hours and in one moment I had to use the bathroom badly. The Spanish girl who was doing my hair told me not to use the bathroom and that there was no toilet tissue and that I had to wait until the owner of the salon came back and with toilet tissue. Four hours into it I was still waiting for my hair to get finished and also waiting to use the bathroom. I was holding in my urine pass four hours. I was getting angry and I asked if she can kindly call her boss because I had to use the bathroom. She called and the hair dressers that worked there acted as if they didn’t care how my hair came out yet along if I peed on my self especially waiting on a chair for over four hours. The owner doesn’t care cuz she waited so long to bring toilet tissues to the hair salon. Now mind u if a customer is spending 130 the job should get done correctly and there should be toilet tissue for your clients to use. I offered to go to the store and buy and the hair dressers acted as if I didn’t exist. I couldn’t leave obviously because I had chemicals in my hair. In the end the bought toilet tissue so I finally was able to use the bathroom to pee. After that I had to wait two more hours before the job got finished on my hair. When the job got done I wasn’t happy but I left because if I get confrontational they probably would had called the cops on me. I paid the 130 but wasn’t happy with the job done. The next day not even 24 hrs later I called the salon and told them I would like my money back because my curls didn’t stay from the perm one and two I’m not satisfied with the job they did to my hair. They charged so high with pricing and they didn’t give good hospitality nor did the job get done well. The next day like I said it’s like I wasted money because my curls didn’t look like curls no more and my hair looked awful. They also said they did the job and that they won’t be giving me back my 130. Don’t go here as they place charges high doesn’t do a job well done when it comes to perms and they take too long for the hair to not come out correctly. I told the owner I wanted to sue and get the cops involved and she said go right ahead without a care about me feeling unhappy with the job done. It looked awful and I wasn’t happy at all. She didn’t offer to fix it and or even try to offer help with the situation. The owner said it took 6 hours and that she was going to give me back the money. She was trying to sweet talk to me and never once offered to fix it or repair what went wrong"
