"Generally a good practice. They have a young vibe and it's a very lively place. The quality of their work is really good. As others have mentioned, it's extraordinarily busy. Sometimes that can be a problem. I was once seated in a chair and forgotten about for an hour. Finally the dentist came in, spent about 5 seconds looking at a questionable tooth, and ran off without saying a word to me--that was the appointment. I think that's a bit of an odd way to treat a patient. But the "factory" aspect shouldn't obscure the fact that (at least for me) they have done generally good work. And their pricing is quite reasonable for someone who doesn't have dental insurance."
"Loved how friendly the staff was. Dentist was knowledgeable and understanding of my concerns. He also answered all of my questions that I had and made me feel comfortable. I am very happy with the care and the staff. Thank-you so much Schoharie Dental!!!"
"I visited this dental clinic for a root canal treatment, and the experience was outstanding from start to finish. From the receptionist’s warm greeting to the technician’s meticulous care and the dentist’s expertise, I am truly grateful. I highly recommend this place for anyone in need of top-notch dental care. Thank you to the entire team!"
"The place is like a revolving door of patients. Crazy busy. Not enough seats in waiting room, standing room only for like 8 or 9 people. Went for first appointment. Arrived a few minutes early. Checked in. Stood there for over an hour until I saw like 3 or 4 people who got there after me go in so I went to the secretary and it turned out they screwed up somehow and forgot me. Then they inspected my teeth and were like ok goodbye, and I was like wait what? No cleaning? And they said oh the secretary who booked you only booked you with a dentist, not a hygienist, we don’t have time to clean you today. I politely pushed back on that and a very nice, very competent hygienist gave me a great cleaning. Facilities clean, new, very thorough X rays taken, but not a great experience. I’m gonna find a small dentist office. These guys were the only ones around me accepting new patients any time soon."
"Went in for a cleaning. Was reminded that I had a cracked tooth. Option of having a root canal or extraction. Decided to have my tooth pulled. My other tooth needed a filling. Got the filling. Dr Davis was amazing. He was up front and made me feel comfortable so I decided to have the work done. It had been years since I had work done, other than cleanings. After it was done. He quickly left the room. The dental hygienist told me to rinse with salt water the next day. 2 days later I get dry socket. I called the office right away and they prescribed me an antibiotic. I was still in so much pain so I called the office again to let them know. They scheduled me for a next day visit. They knew it was for dry socket. I drove from Albany to my appointment hoping for some relief. When I got in the chair the dental hygienist said they were out of packing gel. Like really. What! I was there for that. The dentist came in. Looked at my gum. Asked me my level of pain. 10+. I've never experienced dry socket. He said he should have explained after care to me. I asked for a pain medication he said he would give me 5. Here I am 6 days in and no relief. In fact my dry socket pain is even worse. I haven't slept in days I'm in so much pain I don't even know what to do."
