"Naturals Beware. Went to this salon twice for a blow out. First time was great ! Second time was awful because my curls were damaged. Unfortunately, after washing my hair my curls never returned to its natural state. My hair is pin straight now and it seems like they put a chemical relaxer without asking me. It is so devastating as I've been a natural for 5 years. So don't come here if you still want your curls."

"*** PLEASE READ TILL THE END ***I went here looking for a wash and set and a trim and I was told 35$ which is typical mind you I have short hair literally touches my top of my shoulders she took me and the back and did the wash I told her no roller’s because I don’t like to sit under the dryer so she said ok. Someone else came in for a relaxer so she stopped doing my hair to tend to another person to start the other lady’s relaxer. I had to wait for another lady to come In and when I did she came and blowed my hair out and cut so much hair off my head it looks like I have a bob after I was done she told me 75$ for a cut and a wash and set are you kidding me other places charge no more then 40$ she never told me it was a 50$ fee for a regular blow I never heard of that I will not be coming back bad service and over charging customers."

"I had my hair washed, cut, blown and flat ironed here in May 2022. I have not gotten my hair professionally done in over 4 years due to the fact that I like to wear my hair curly and natural. When I washed my hair at home the following week it smelled like sulfur (like washing out a relaxer). I was given a "free conditioner" at the time of my service that had some type of chemical in it because after my hair was rinsed the texture changed and became a bit stringy. I did not ask for a relaxer nor any other chemical treatment. When I told the owner about it she denied it that they put anything in their conditioner but I am here to tell you to BEWARE! This is disrespectful practice that is all too common in salons like these. My hair is weak, damaged, lacks lustre, and no longer curls in the same manner as it did before. This is unfortunately more common than it is reported."

"Hidden gem in Elmont. We just moved to the neighborhood not too long ago needed a new hair salon to do my daughter's hair. I love the service,place as nice and clean and everyone there was so friendly, not to add the price is great. They also do special price on Wednesdays."

"The last review calling Yudy a thief seems personal. I don't know Yudy personally, but I have been going there since December 2020 and she seems reasonable and upfront. She's a small business owner, the staff is very friendly, but need a little help with being comfortable with speaking English. There is also no appointment system. I go on occasion, so you get who you get, but all seem capable for wash, set, and blow dry. Other than that, the salon is clean, and Yudy blow dries your hair without you feeling like your scalp will catch on fire."
