"Theses people say one price over text and phone then when you get there they lie and said they have a different price. Please be aware"
"I go to auntie to get my hair done she is the best. Very friendly and great environment the only thing is parking is bad in that area other than that. They are a great hair salon and will recommend anyone to go there for braiding."
"Never even got the the chance to get my hair done because I got there 10 mins early. (Y’all know how hair salons like charging late fees so I made sure I was there Extra On Time) anywho, I got there 10 mins early to End up waiting an Hour for a Hairdresser Im not sure Even even came Once I left. The communication skills are Very Much Bare Minimum They don’t know how to conduct business professionallyz I didn’t even know the name of the person who was supposed to do my hair let alone I wasn’t expecting her to NOT be there either. They Didn’t have many costumers, it wasn’t a busy Morning but still managed to have me wait longer than usual. & this Is Not the First Salon to Have Bad Service in Hempstead Ephetas Is Unprofessional as well With negative attitudes."
"I was Held HOSTAGE and Hit!!! The WORST experience I have ever had in my life. I spoke to the hairdresser before buying my hair and asked nearly 5 times: "What is the price?" She refused to state a price. I called the number listed on google and she called back from another (917) number, which was very scam artist like. She then told me over the phone twist hair extensions start from $160. I brought the hair for the extensions and withdrew $200. Upon completion she charged $240. I only had $200 with the assumption it would cost around $160, like she stated on the phone. She said I cannot leave the store until I pay her $240, she kept the door locked and it was 10pm at night. I was held in a hostage situation which then lead me to call the police. I called the police, left the money on the counter and tried to escape. She pushed me away from the door, she tried to grab my phone when I tried to record her behavior. I yelled at her in self defense and banged on the door for help trying to push my way past her. The cops arrived and I reported the incident. They were very unhelpful and took little interest in my story. I will consult with a lawyer, local new networks, and report this business!"
"The salon is clean and well located. Most importantly each stylist is well skilled in a variety of braid styles and the braids and neat and beautiful and the time from when you get in the chair is quick. The completed bra strap length medium box braids on me in 3.5hrs. The drawbacks, you have to wait. They have a revolving door of customers and they don't take reservations so first come first serve. Also whatever is the posted price, they provide the hair for an additional cost, BUT, you are always free to bring your own hair to avoid that cost. Cost of service is slightly above average but well worth it!. I highly recommend."
