National Dental Williston Park

"I've never been to a dental office where the process is so horrible before and I don't mean their skills in dentistry; there's just so many things wrong but I'll try to keep it brief to the most recent ones. I had to cancel an appointment in advance and explicitly told them I will reschedule when I call back because I don't even know my own schedule at the time at work. Turns out the hygienist scheduled for me at a later date according to them and I didn't even know about it till I got a text message reminder as the date came close. You'd think that was pretty tame no? Let me hit you with this now, I got a letter today in the mail about a Final Notice balance due for $663.24 (as seen in the picture). The letter was sent out on Jan 30, 2024. I got the letter today in the mail Feb 02, 2024. The letter saying I have 5 days to pay the balance at the date of the letter, who does that? Not only that, it say Final Notice but I never got ANY notice. No phone call, no voicemail, no text message, no email, no regular mail even but suddenly you can reach me with a Final Notice no problem much less I don't even know what the charge is for considering I haven't been to the place in like 6+ months. When I called them they explained to me that its part of the billing plan I set up with them for my Invisalign treatment prior and that this was the remainder of the balance. Problem with this is that they have my credit card on file but for whatever reason they said at some point they stop charging me for it?? Each charge was $160s or something but they didn't charge for a while. I told them what's stopping them? My card didn't change number nor expired. It baffles me, if I have a plan set up already and that's the agreed upon payment (which now I have to look up that payment plan somewhere) then why you suddenly stop charging and then hit me with a notice? Does that make sense to anyone? So they didn't ask for my card on the phone as they already have it on file and I told them just go ahead and the charge went through. I thought it's the end of it but now I notice a new issue. The Final Notice said it's for a $663.24 owed but they charged me $686.45? Whose doing the math here?? I'm so stressed out from this one moment after coming home from work and the "legal" notice put it as if they want to strong arm me under duress that I'm contemplating of issuing them my OWN legal letter now because this is nonsensical and the place isn't giving me much confidence to go back almost on a daily basis and I've been with them since 2021!"

"The dentist,Dr. K. AND all workers were patient ,kind and considerate. Their work is exemplary. My crown matched perfectly. I would highly recommend this dental practice."

"Dr. Tiffany Konklewski is good and so are some of the assistants. The problem is the reception & some staffs. Be careful of what they say about the coverage & payment! They always change it and push you to do something extra. For example, they said that my insurance will cover 50% and I will have to pay 50% for a service. After confirming and paying 50% upfront, they started to send me bill for another 30%, saying that insurance covers 20% only. If I knew this earlier, I would not do the service. I was tricked!"

Noelle very helpful she make sure that everything will explain to me from A to Z the treatment plan and the procedure and the cost and was amazing. They know how to properly take care of their patients The office is very clean and staff are friendly! I would recommend this place to anyone.and now I will refer my colleague name Toni for deep cleaning."

"This is the best dental office I have ever been to. Every single person in the office is friendly and professional. The waiting area is very comfortable and always clean. I've been seeing Dr. K (I can't spell her name), and was recommended to her by my niece and sister because of my fear of dentists. She puts me completely at ease, and explains everything she's doing. She's very nice also... and patient. I've NEVER recommended a dentist before, but I won't say that again. I highly recommend this whole office, but especially Dr.K."
