I looked in many shelters on line.When I came to the Transylvania County Animal rescue, I stopped and actually called. the woman that I spoke with was very friendly, took her time with me like I was the only person around. I went there the next day and upon meeting Pepper a 7 month old lab mix, she was right it was love at first sight. You could tell he was well loved and well taken care of, he loved everyone there.
