Reviews
"Great friendly staff, found a good dog from there an the staff went out of there way to help"
"Condescending and judgmental, this shelter offered no help in any way when trying to surrender an animal. Staff went out of their way to make the situation exponentially more difficult. No compassion. This is the second round of issues I've had with them. A year previously I adopted a kitten who had FIP. Staff was aware, didn't say anything, and let me adopt a kitten to watch die. I thought that surely this was a one off incident, but I was apparently wrong. Reviews of shelters that encompass more than the adoption process are incredibly important. This is a county funded resource and should be treated as so. Concerns are not accounted for, but the funding still prevails."
"Great and friendly staff! We adopted a beautiful dog there."
"the nicest shelter i’ve ever been to & amazing staff! i got my little kitten from here & i would definitely recommend!"
"I had found a dog near the parkway so went to this shelter. Staff lady at the front was very rude, rolled her eyes, and questioned every detail making me feel as if I were in some criminal court. What is the problem with an animal shelter helping lay people? It made me want to just leave with the dog and not help any dogs seen stranded. Maybe this is a tactic of theirs? Very unprofessional and judgmental."
