"We tried lunch today, first time since it was a Cagney's. I like the menu offerings and the upgraded colors inside. I went with an expresso with caramel flavor, and it came in a full-size Lavazza cup with the caramel flavor on the side. The plain expresso was best, as I tried it plain and slowly added more flavor to see what I thought. My food selection was the Brussel sprouts from the Lighter Fare. It said roasted Brussels, grape tomatoes, goat cheese crumbles, and bacon or grilled chicken. I chose bacon. As the picture shows, it's a pretty dish, simple, and, at least this time, disappointing flavor wise. Instead of a roasted, nutty flavor to the Brussels, they had been broiled to the point of being charred and mostly flavorless beyond the burnt taste. Occasionally, a thicker sprout produced a bit of that flavor, but overall, it was bland. There was some sort of pancake syrup in the bottom of the skillet. It was a nice attempt at a favorite dish of mine that fell short. At $11.99, I did eat it all as I didn't want to reheat charred leaves. My spouse enjoyed his cinnamon rolls with whipped cream, fruit, and pancake syrup."
"It was a busy day. There were so many people, it was difficult to walk around easily. Once we were seated, it took awhile for a server to greet us and offer drinks. Food was decent. The eggs benedict was under-seasoned. The Monte Cristo Sandwich was unnecessarily fried. On a positive note, the pesto goat cheese grits were quite good."
"First time at Miam's since it changed from Cagney's. Overall the place has been updated nicely and the servers were friendly. I tried the Monte Cristo and was disappointed. The portion was small and didn't use swiss cheese like it traditionally should. The "blue jelly" was weird and they should stick with raspberry preserves. The home fries tasted like deep fried frozen potatoes and lacked any kind of flavor. For the prices they are charging there are a lot of better options"
"Miam Breakfast is great, the customer service, food, cost, wait and environment was outstanding. We will return for another visit when in the area for sure. We both got the skillets and eggs were made to order how we wanted it. The quality and quantity was superb. The overall experience was nothing short of what you would expect when visiting a restaurant that is 5 stars which is what we gave them. it's a small establishment but plenty of space for what they have. I can see peak guess where it can be hard to find a seat or parking maybe but that is expected also. The service of the food was fast surprising how great it was at the same time. Don't pass this place if it's near. Cost is of course what you expect for what you get no complaints about that. If I lived near this would be a regular place we would visit."
"My mom had wanted to go to the restaurant that was in this space before and we were surprised to see the name and space had changed. Since we were already looking to get breakfast, we went ahead and walked in. We were immediately seated and the hostess was kind enough to give us a seat in the window when we asked for it. We were greeted almost immediately at our table, service was excellent, even though the restaurant was relatively busy and when our food came out it was exactly as we ordered it. The food is phenomenal! I cannot rave enough about the crab cake Benedict. It is a MUST TRY. My mother enjoyed the bananas fosters French toast. The fresh squeezed OJ and cappuccino were perfect as well. This will be my new breakfast spot when I come to visit!"
