"This salon not only burnt my hair when blow drying it, but now my before all curly hair is now half straight and half curly and I am unable to get my curls back at all. They should be closed down."

"Over priced. I was the first one there at 9:30am, on a rainy Sunday. Five, 5! Hours later she (the manager) tried to charge me 240$ for a root touch up, trim, wash and set. Some arbitrary number she must have pulled out of the air since there's no price listing posted. Spent an extra hour under the dryer not because my hair was damp, hairdresser never checked it, but bc she was servicing a client who had just gotten there an hour before. I did the math. 1 hour with dye, 2 hours under dryer plus 35 mins. in a chair waiting for her (the hairdresser) to finish the other client. That's 3hrs and 35 min - 5hrs = 1hr 25 min total time spent actually doing my hair. Which turned out nice... just as nice as the Dominican spots on Walton, Jerome or Fordham where I usually go, where prices make sense. I informed the manager that 240$ was too much when I can get the SAME service on Jerome for 80$. She agreed prices are cheaper on Jerome and we negotiated from there. At this salon expect to pay 2 to 3 times more for what you can get at Walton for less, in less time and better vibes."

"Great salon! Walked in for blow out for my daughter. The lady took her right away and gave the BEST blow out she's ever had. My daughter was very curly thick hair and the stylist had her pin straight. She worked quick too! Good prices and very clean salon. We will definitely go back again."

"The WORST salon I ever been to! Run if you ever go there do not get a haircut. They talk about you while you’re sitting there. Thinking you don’t understand what they’re saying.. The OWNER CHOPPED MY HAIR! She messed up the ends with the way she cut my hair. I asked for long layers and did not get them and told her about it. She then proceeded to try again for the second time. When she was done, she took a picture and I seen I have uneven layers in my hair and about 3 layers only. All the layers seem close together and my ends are choppy. She took a picture of my hair and I couldn’t believe it was my hair. I was so shock I didn’t say nothing besides pay and tip. Tomorrow is my birthday and I was mortified. I cried outside next to Dunkin’ Donuts with my two kids and then I went back talking to a customer. The owner came out the shop and says remember you didn’t get your hair done for a year and your hair is dry, but I’ll fixed it. I just walked away from her because I was never going back into the chair for the third try. Do not waste your money. They charge you based off the feeling. There is no base price at all. It’s whatever they think for the day!"
