"I recently took my mom to get her hair done at this salon and by the time we left, she couldn't stop smiling and admiring her new look in the mirror. Not only did Rahlene do a fantastic job on the cut and style, but she also gave my mom some tips on how to maintain the look at home. She listened attentively to my mom's concerns and preferences and really epitomized the essence of a “ before & after” transformation. Overall, I highly recommend Rahlene to anyone looking for a talented and personable stylist. She truly did an amazing job on my mom's hair and we will definitely be returning to her in the future."

"I am still in shock that Rahlene (salon owner) butchered or otherwise sheg up my hair. I had been going to her for about 3 years and typically my visits were every 6 weeks for relaxer and coloring rinse. I’s introduced 6 friends and family members to her. In the end, for whatever reason, only my sister and I hung with her. I have severe back trouble and I would suffer through the pain of sitting for long Thursday appointments. It got better during/after covid because she was strict about the # of patrons at a time. Rahlene is not an adventurous stylist and should not even really claim to be a stylist… I got the same style no matter what I asked for. It got so I’d tell her “just as long as I have enough for my ponytail” I’m good. And away I’d go and by Friday I was back in a ponytail. She must have been clocking me because I experimented with color on my own during my regular washes and once I even went to a new high end salon. That would make 12 weeks since I’d seen her. My girl had a genuine attitude upon seeing me and my sister. Talking foolishness in a joking kind of way. Things like you’re out doing all kinds of things to your hair” “look how it’s broken off at the edges (that was true which I can explain). She kept grumbling and did the usual and got to the part where the cutting began. You have damage and need a trim. I said my usual…as long as I have a ponytail left. She cut and I noticed she swept the floor rather quickly. It wasn’t till the next day I went to a family gathering and really looked at my hair when I got home. That woman cut off about 4-5 inches of my hair! The breakage around the edges was due to me laundering my sleep nets and caps in a lingerie bag but using clothing soap…I always hand wash with shampoo…so lesson learned. Spite in business will lead to downfalls…"
