Family Dentistry: Tzur Ilan DDS

"The WORST dental experience ever !!! My husband went for a dental cleaning and X-Rays . The dr rushed him with the ENTIRE process and it only took him 20 min for the whole consultation. My husband wanted to talk to him about some cavities and future braces but the Dr didn’t want to pay attention and rushed him out. When I saw my husband his gums were still bleeding !!! And the dr did NOT clean his teeth at all. We decided we would move forward with another Dr and just let it go. I spoke to my other Dr to have a consultation and he said he would need my husband’s X-rays and clinical chart as the insurance only covers one every 6 months (I think). I called Dr Ilan and I explained that I really didn’t have the time to go to the office and pick up the papers I asked if there was any way he could emailed it to me, he said “No, you need to come in person”. I called the next day and said we’re stopping by today to pick it up he said he wasn’t at the office and he asked me why did you decide to move forward with someone else ? I told him everything and he literally started screaming at me and arguing over the phone. After 2 WEEKS of calling and finding a good time for me to go ( because he is never in the office) I made time from work and went to his office. I called him when I was on my way so he could have the papers ready and I told him Dr PLEASE have them ready because I just have 2 minutes so I can catch my next train back to the city (work) I walked into the office and I said Hi I’m Laura we just spoke on the phone and he asked “ what’s the name of your husband again ?” I couldn’t believe it !!!! He DID NOT have anything ready for me he had to go and find my husbands chart and tried to print it but he couldn’t print it !!!! Meanwhile I lost my train back and I had a cab waiting for me outside - because he couldn’t print it he said let me email it to you !!!!!!!!!! Again - unbelievable!!! I was very polite and I was just breathing- he emailed to me ONE picture - not a X-ray not a chart - ONE Picture of my husbands molars . I said is this all ? He said yes that’s it - I asked how about the chart ? How about the front teeth ? Where are the the front teeth x-rays ?- he answered “Oh I didn’t take those “ !!!!! I honestly didn’t say anything and walked Downstairs and cried out of anger I’ve never felt so frustrated ! Never !"

"The worst experience I’ve ever had, this doctor did such a bad job that I ended up going to another dentist to fix the mess he did. He put so much anesthesia on me that I couldn’t move half of my face for hours. So unprofessional, just letting this here so it doesn’t happen to anyone else."
