They will also call to remind you and reconfirm your appointment just in case you have an emergency or forget. I stumbled on to him searching for a dentist in my health plan and I am grateful I found him. "While visiting family in The Bronx I had a severe toothache that I should have taken care of weeks before. The dentist office of Dr. Chefola & Chehova Was the closest to my location with availability to see me right away. The check in process was very easy a few forms, proof of ID, proof of insurance and the killer toothache was all that was required. The receptionists were very professional and helpful with my questions they had me in the chair within 15 minutes of walking through the front door. After a thorough examination a turns out I needed a bridge for my tooth. Doctor chahovun walk me through the entire process step-by-step. We scheduled another appointment and prescribe me some pain medication to get me through the rest of the weekend. Overall great experience doctor chahovun was gentle throughout the entire procedure explaining everything he was doing as it was being done he really took the time out to make sure I was comfortable and relaxed. The office staff were wonderful it was immediately evident that they had all worked there for some time all smiles and and light hearted demeanor. I would definitely recommend Dr Chehova to my family and friends."

"I recently had a toothache and went to see Dr Chehova. My tooth was killing me and I was sure I needed a root canal. He saw me within 15 minutes. The Doctor was very pleasant and so was the staff. He told me all I needed was to replace a broken filling. The procedure was painless and easy. Very happy with the Doctor and his staff."

"Misrepresented being "in-network", charged me 50 copay for my cleaning which doesn't require a copay, began crown without acquiring clearance/estimate of my potential out of pocket costs, temporary crown failed after two days... To top it off after the initial exam I all of a sudden have a bunch of cavities, need front teeth veneers, on the verge of periodontist which will require four plus sessions, unaligned bite or something... Anyway they had me booked for ten appointments from now to December... Staff isn't even particularly friendly or helpful. Beware. Know your stuff before coming here or you might be potentially taken. The doctor did seem like a nice guy and so I'm floored by all of this. I think they're used to dealing with clients who can afford to not be actively paying attention to the "details"/cost of things but not this girl. I work hard for my insurance and can't afford unnecessarily high out of pocket costs for work that isn't even top notch."
