"This is a wonderful single dentist practice. Dr. Aluf is thorough and knowledgeable and the dental hygienist is SO gentle and friendly. They both did thorough exams of my mouth (not just my teeth) and always ask if I have any questions. The receptionist is welcoming and always so organized when it comes to insurance/copays. Highly recommend."

"Update : Dr Aluf lacks integrity as he passes off my correspondence to his malpractice insurance agent. He pocketed money $$ despite his botched work and doesn't comprehend the suffering he has inflicted. It's a matter of conscience and professionalism that he accept his responsibility and do the right thing, however he does not. This has been a nightmare. December 2023: Saw this dentist in January 2023 to get a crown. My dentist had retired. Dr Aluf botched this simple procedure. He kept my mouth open for much too long and even placed a prop which stretched my mouth past it's limit. Now I suffer with temporomandibular joint disorder, TMJ, an inflammation in my jaw joint. A very painful condition affecting eating, talking. It causes sharp pain in the ear as well! My quality of life has suffered greatly. I have spent thousands of dollars to manage the condition so far. Visited an oral surgeon, Ear, Nose and Throat doctor, dentists for second opinions. Then, to the TMJ specialist that Dr Aluf recommended. Photo shows a crack in the bite guard from Dr Aluf, developed only 3 months later. It was so tight and painful to wear, despite his repeated attempts to adjust. Dr Steven Syrop, a TMJ specialist I have since seen, has fitted me with a superior bite guard. Dr Aluf doesn't own up to his failure, is dismissive, and could care less. He definitely does not stand by his work. Please, do not go to Michael Aluf of Irvington, NY!!"

"This is a new dental practice for me, but my impression was formed during the initial phone call. Angelica was so kind and attentive and she helped me so much before my visit. Dr. Aluf is very kind, thorough and explained everything. What impressed me was that he asked me if I had any questions. I know that should be a standard but it isn’t. He did an amazing job cleaning my teeth also. Hope this is the start of a good relationship because I’ve had horrible experiences with dental professionals in the past."
