"I hate to do this but if it can help one person than it’s worth it. It’s been almost six years since I’ve seen Dr. Markovitch and yet I think of him every time I bite down…actually make that every time I *can’t* bite down. Long story ahead but read it before you think making an appt. I made an appointment in 2016, after Dr. M recently took over my longtime dentist’s practice upon his retirement. I had a routine exam where I was told I had sooo many cavities on both the left and right side but Dr. M decided to focus on the left side first. He filled the cavities insanely fast, I remember thinking, wow—that’s it?! Fast forward a few weeks and I could no longer chew on that side. I went back complaining of pain, and was told it was a “bite issue” and he adjusted my bite. Still unable to chew or bite down, I went back a few times for “adjustments” and yet it did nothing. I finally went to get a second opinion and discovered he drilled and didn’t remove the decay but rather filled over it, causing me to go to countless dentists, endodontists and endure root canals,retreats,crowns, years of distress, pain and thousands and thousands of dollars all to repair the botched job. Oh and by the way, I have zero cavities on the right side, weird considering he said I needed fillings on both sides…so thankful he never got to touch that side. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere, you’ll thank me. P.S. this has nothing to with him as a person, he was a nice man but unfortunately an awful dentist."
