"This is being posted on 6/17/2023 - An update to my 4/23 posting - After taking the full mouth xrays, Dr. Abrahamson never contacted me to let me know that the bone graph I had for my implant was disintegrating. This means that I could loose the implant altogether. In addition, her remaining office staff never sent my records, my husband's or my son's to our new dentist. This leads me to believe that the xrays that were taken were just done for the extra revenue. Unfortunately, as per my dental plan, I can't have these xrays done again until 10/2024. This was posted April 2023 - Dr. Abrahamson was fine. It was nice to have a dentist that only did what needed to be done. This is a 2 star rating for her former staff...those that were there the last 2 mos of her practice...especially the one who did my xrays. She did several xrays without the lead apron. She told me that they didn't have one. My new dentist's assistant was shocked; she couldn't believe that she exposed me to that, especially my thyroid."

"Outdated equipment and rude staff. Made me wait 5 months to repair a chipped front tooth.(Never fixed it).Blamed my insurance. Went to another Dentist, fixed same day."

"I found the dentist's father, who was also a dentist, about 2 decades ago. She took over her father's business and until 2 years ago, when I moved away, not only me but my children were treated by her. I now live an hour away from Fishkill and went to a local dentist for a checkup. To double check, I returned to Dr. Julie, and the end result is saving me not only time but a nice amount of money. I will be returning to Dr. Julie as my dentist. She is a good, thorough dentist, or I wouldn't have been going to her since the early 1990s. Nor would I have returned to her. The office staff are also friendly and hugely helpful"
