"Dr Corso is an amazing doctor. First off, wait time was very short. We then saw his PA, who was fantastic and even printed out information for us. Then shortly Dr. Corso came into the room. He really took the time to explain in detail the rare cancer that my Dad has. He was the first one of a round of doctors that really described what he had and even drew a picture to illustrate it. He blew our minds when discussing treatment options and he asked my Dad, what are your thoughts about the treatment? Absolutely loved him and highly, highly recommend him."
"Dr. Corso is nothing short of a blessing to his patients. He is kind, compassionate, takes his time with you, is very intelligent, and most of all, he truly cares about each patient. He saved my life My situation was/is complicated and he was so supportive and sincerely concerned about my circumstances. It is a major mistake for Atrium Shelby to transfer him to Pineville. You will never find a doctor to care for patients, make life and death decisions all day long, see patients, manage all the daily responsibilities he has for patients, staff and the forsaken insurance companies who have never ending hurdles to jump, in order to get the necessary care/tests/referrals patients require. He always smiles, and makes patients feel at ease while trying to process the worst time of their lives, horrible side effects from the treatment, and the emotional roller coaster that comes with it all. Knowing he is right there with you is a major comfort. I have seen other doctors and none come close to Dr. Corso. (Just ask his staff or patients!) Please reconsider transferring him to Pineville. It will be a devastating loss to Atrium, our community and the patients. Thank you for the opportunity to voice my concerns(as well as many others). I pray you find an alternate solution.
