"I just received 34 rounds of radiation after a double mastectomy for breast cancer and just finished up the radiation treatments early April 2021. I was hesitant at first due to my radiation beginning so closely to the time I had the mastectomy. But Dr. Barnes and HIS STAFF did a marvelous job taking care of me. They answered all my questions ( and seems like I had them daily) with such kindness and understanding. And I felt as though I was receiving the BEST OF CARE. They did not radiate my scar until the last week of radiation so my scar was given time to heal. I did not have much of a reaction at all to the treatments and when I did....................nurse Maggie went out of her way to give me samples of creams and they all worked perfectly. My oncologist and surgeon at Emory Winship Cancer Institute were amazed how well my skin did and were thrilled with the overall treatment and care I received at Dr. Barnes office. The daily trips became something I looked forward to as I became friends with all the staff and have actually missed their smiling faces since my treatment ended. SO all said...........don't be afraid and let THEM take care of you. They are absolutely wonderful and I HIGHLY recommend them."
