"It pains me to write this review. I really like Jeffrey Poarch. He is nice, personable, and absolutely competent to complete most tax returns. Plus, his prices for individual and small business returns are fantastic. However, I had a negative experience this recent tax season. I had a complicated return and several mistakes that Mr. Poarch made caused me to accrue an unexpected $760 fine from the IRS. After many polite emails and a phone call where I spoke with Mr. Poarch (he assured me he would help), I have been left with no follow up or reply. All of my calls and emails have been ignored. My new accountant mentioned that I could sue Mr. Poarch for his neglect in preparing my return. However, between me genuinely liking him and also not wanting to put too much energy into recovering $760, I have put the matter behind me. Yes, Mr. Poarch is overall knowledgable and nice, but do not expect a professional level of communication or reliability to complete complex returns."

"Can not get a phone call back concerning papers. Has been a couple of weeks. Never home or a courtesy call back. Not very professional at all....something is wrong with this."

"Can't get my documents or copies of our tax returns. No response to emails,voice-mail or text. Have stopped in on 3 different occasions and always promised to have them by end of day. Its been over 3 months now and still haven't heard from him. We don't know if he even filed our taxes. Stay away from this guy!!!!"
