"Unfortunately I did NOT have a positive experience at Cornerstone Peridontics. Never having any gum disease or major dental problems I was told by East Amherst Dental that I need to see a peridontist. I immediately made an appointment, and after my first consultation, which I paid over $400 I received a treatment plan. I opted for a less aggressive treatment which was going to be around $2000 and regular peridontal cleanings every 3 months. My first scaling treatment resulted in knocking out my crown, which they couldn’t replace back in, so I had to go to my regular dentist. Continuing with my cleanings, my last visit resulted in the cleaning going so deep, it inflamed a back molar leaving me in excruciating pain. I proceeded to find an oral surgeon who felt it was necessary to extract that tooth. Just a cautious warning, please go for a second opinion before you agree to a treatment plan, and hopefully you won’t experience the nightmare that I did! By the way Cornerstone does not take insurance so this is all out of pocket. I did request a refund for one cleaning which they refused!"

"This group is the BEST! I could tell right away that Dr. H. is experienced and highly skilled. He takes time to listen and address all my questions—it’s quite obvious that he really cares about his patients. And the staff—from reception to hygiene to billing—are professional and efficient. Just as important, EVERYONE in this office is so friendly and welcoming. No stress here—I actually look forward to my visits. I’m in my 70’s and have had a lot of work done on my teeth over the years. I moved to this area only recently, so of course it has been a challenge to find all new offices for my medical needs. I feel so fortunate to have found the Cornerstone group, and I highly recommend them!"

They were concerned with my commute and how I found the location, which was easy with GPS. I received a tour of the back, and I was even gifted a water bottle. Dr. Anderson was very informative on the procedure I was inquiring about and made me feel comfortable to move forward with him and his team!!!
