"I was in the hospital 2 times for over a week. 1st time was when they found I had Covid pneumonia. After several doctors from another hospital said it was just my asthma. This hospital, They immediately made sure I was taken care of. On 3west. The 2nd time was with phenomena and RSV. I have asthma. And oxygen was dropping. Again these same nurses and CNAs did their best for me. I could not have ask for better. I appreciate all the staff there."
"Recently had to go to ER with my son. The care he received was adequate and helped but the place was filthy. With all the money they have put in to that hospital it does look like they could do some sanitation and cleaning. The walls needed painting, the floors were filthy, and I saw at least 2 insects crawling on the floor. I am pretty sure one was a flea and not sure what the other was. I was quite concerned we would would leave with something worse than what we had gone in for because of the obvious lack of sanitation. They helped him but I most certainly would not want to be hospitalized there."
"I have a almost 2 yr old son with autism and epilepsy that is non verbal . He was sick with a fever and from check in to out all nurses and the Dr was very compassionate and caring . They did things such as offering to take off stethoscope to keep from scaring him , dimed lighting and offerd other things to help him stay calmer due to sensory needs . I was very impressed at the level of care and compassion they showed"
"Worst experience for my elderly mother. They let her lay in her own urine after surgery until they finished their lunch. They misplaced my mother for 3 hours. She had a GI bleed and after her hip surgery she was out back on warfarin and then aspirin. No NSAIDS with blood thinners. Stupidest hospital we’ve ever been in."
"Disgrace… a prejudice place that will judge your treatment by your looks, race and religion. Please find another ER to seek help at. What hospital lets a patient leave with a blood pressure that’s alarming and in excruciating pain after having major surgery days prior ??? I went for help with profuse and long bleeding and extreme severe pain at the request of my family doctor telling me to get to the ER….I was asked why did I come here instead of going to the hospital that did the operation… WELL YOU SEE BUDDY… your hospital was 14 mins away. The hospital that did my procedure was 40 mins away…. SO, why did I come to your hospital ???. Long story short… left with no answers, no pain management and told to go to the hospital that did the surgery the following day if the symptoms continue. I was told they would be able to do more for me at that hospital then they can do for me here. Now… how convenient that the blood pressure they noted on discharge paperwork was the lowest of them all to get me out…. I left peacefully, but I cried from pain and disbelief as I walked out struggling to understand what just took place. I thought the healthcare system was suppose to address issues and help those in need. I am a medically retired veteran and left the VA care because of neglect, only to see it doesn’t matter where I go because at the end of the day I’m tattooed all over, dress, as one would say; like a man” and I’m gay…. Enough said…. THANK YOU Laurie Kitting Toman FNP for your lack of help. Oh, and the kicker… I never saw a doctor just the Family Nurse Practitioner “mentioned above” at the ER after a major invasive surgery 6 days prior… GREAT JOB CALDWELL EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT… being sarcastic if you didn’t get that !!"
