"I checked this place out for the first time and really dug the cozy vibe. The service was pretty good and the food was awesome - I'd totally go back just for the tasty eats! The mushroom and mac and cheese sides were a little salty for me but still solid. It's a bit pricey but worth it for a special night out like anniversary or V-day. The awesome food and chill atmosphere make it a great spot to celebrate something. I recommend this place. Will be back again!"

"I have lived in Winston for years and passed this place on many occasions. Tonight I finally got to try it out after a business meeting. This restaurant is hidden behind some buildings back in a little forest with a creek running through it. It is very odd yet majestic. The building is pretty neat. Very old cabin vibe with multi level seating. Huge windows to see out into the woods. Appetizers were very good. Had the meatballs and spinach crab dip. I had the shrimp and grits, which were very good. Only critique would be maybe too many onions. Nothing I couldn’t move to the side. Other plates at the table were the sea bass, crab cakes, and a multitude of steaks. Everyone said their dishes were great. Place got packed fast and got a little loud with multiple table conversations. I would definitely go back sometime."

"Good experience overall, if you are looking for a balanced dinner this place should check all the box's. Great martini selection and best dirty martini I have ever had. Bloody Mary needs a lot of work. Apps were good. We selected bacon wrapped scallops, spinach dip, and meat balls. The scallops were the best of the three as the meatballs were mostly bland but NOT dry. Spinach dip came with an array of different breads to sample the dip which was nice. We got the filet special and assumed it came with shrimp for an $80 dollar entree but instead just shrimp sauce.... steak was good and tender with a nice crust. The table also ordered the sword fish which was cooked to perfection"

"For a special occasion, event, anniversary, or friendly gathering this is your place. The overall atmosphere is for those who wish to have a nice dining experience accompanied by the elegant wait staff that is more than accommodating with your needs. The food is prepared to your liking and not how the restaurant sees fit with the chef. The additions to your meal were very good and flavourful. We did not participate in the alcohol portion but the water tasted very clean and very filtered. Parking is not a problem unless it's a very busy evening but should accompany most parties attending. Recommend making reservations for a week or two out if you have a specific day. Recommend for a special evening or splurge days but not the everyday due to the cost. But like I said it's well worth it."
