H&R Block

"Paid $289 for my taxes to be completed on 4/8/22 by Niesha Barnes. She made several mistakes and I was audited by the PA Department of Revenue. I called 15+ times between the receipt of my letter and the due date of my response. Operator would not pass me to anyone to assist me but continued to “take messages for the tax professionals”. These tax professionals work contract work during tax season. You will not be able to reach your accountant for assistance during the off-season. I do not advise using H&R Block for this reason. I will delete this comment if I can get a response."

"Last week on Wednesday I booked An appointment at the Garner location for Friday morning at 8am - I get here and the building is closed. I went Back online to book another appt for Monday morning at 8 am I sat here after dropping my son off at school to discover they are not even open !!!!!-TAKE THE APPOINTMENTS FOR THE TIME SLOTS DOWN FOR THE GARNER LOCATION , this has been twice I’ve book open appts on the website just to get here and NOBODY IS HERE !!!! I’m disgusted and my time has now been wasted twice !!!"

"My lady had an appointment set to come at 2:30 today on Sunday. They rescheduled for 12:30 on 04/02/23 That was fine, except they didn’t even bother opening the location that day ether.. and didn’t bother to tell anyone. I don’t think it’s wise to trust anyone here with your taxes, especially if they can’t even manage to show up for work they schedule."

"Harris Berman at the Garner, NC location has the worst customer service and Should not even be in employed y such a reputable company. This person is not representing H&R Block In a professional manner at all. We are never doing business with them ever again. We had an issue in the office today and my husband asked to be contacted by a manager to which they said it would be Monday before he heard back. Totally fine. Until Harris Berman calls my husband 2 hours later claiming to be a manager when he isn’t. Constantly talked OVER my husband, CLAIMED to be a manager when he wasn’t. Then was completely rude and not helpful at all and hung up on my husband when he asked what his name was. Well we figured out who HE was!!! My husband is in management and I have never heard someone speak to a customer like that in my life! Stay away! We are not people to go to these lengths but if you knew the specifics trust me you would be infuriated too. We fully expect to go to the BBB over this and are also contacting their corporate office right now with his full name and phone number."
