"I am so grateful for everyone here. From the front desk staff to my therapist and psychologist, I am grateful and will forever be grateful. I have become a better person and I’ve worked through trauma I thought would cripple me for life. I truly owe my well-being to these fabulous people. I highly recommend this place, 10/10"
"My daughter has been going to Lifescapes for over a year with great success. Their staff has always been responsive, respectful and kind. This place is a gem if you are seeking mental health support. They really care about their patients and it shows."
"While my therapist at Lifescapes was amazing, the practice management and desk staff made me feel as though my mental health care was unimportant and not urgent. I had been a regular patient of a therapist for some time when they had to take unexpected leave; I was told they had no way of absorbing the therapist's patients and so I could wait for my therapist to return or be replaced. I chose to wait and communicated this to them, but as my need for care grew over the next month, I called back to ask them about referrals or when my therapist might return or be replaced. I never received a call back. Two months later (now three months without care), I saw on their website that my therapist had returned and no one had bothered to inform me. When I contacted them about it, I was told that I could get an appointment with her in two to three months but only high-risk patients had been contacted about her return. When I then asked if they had a recommendation for another practitioner or even another local practice entirely, I was told "most therapists in this area are very busy" and given no direction or information to help continue my care. I felt deprioritized and discouraged. Moreover, the fact that they could not resume my care but had no plan or recommendation for me to do so was irresponsible. It's unfortunate, because some truly gifted practitioners work at Lifescapes, but I felt that their lack of care put me at risk. I understand that unexpected emergencies arise, but planning on leaving patients 6 months without care or any plan or recommendation is simply irresponsible and dangerous."
"My wife's therapist left on short notice while she was actively in need of support (which on its own would be fine - therapists have reasons for needing to do that and this is not the upsetting part) but the front office told her that she was not an important enough patient to warrant placement with another therapist. I personally had medication that I rely on in a day to day basis silently cut off due to not making a (fourth) followup appointment I was never told I needed to make. My pharmacist called them eight times trying to renew the prescription and they just ignored the calls entirely, never returned messages, and never even told me this was going on until I was forced to go a full week cold turkey off of my medication - I was told that in different situations I could have just paid a missed appointment fee and they would have been able to write me another prescription (which seems sketchy enough as is) but that they would not be able to re-up my medication until we were able to schedule another appointment (several days out at this point due to scheduling conflicts). I left and never looked back. I am aware of several other people who have had similar (or more severe!) experiences as well. Think twice before going here. And especially before switching any existing prescriptions to run through the med manager there."
"For the first time in my life, I actually found a therapist that seemed to understand what was going on with me. She has been able to be on call when I think about self harm, talking to her is really helpful. I only wish they weren't so busy, to the point that I can't get an appointment. Mostly my fault. Overall I think they are wonderful."
