"I was skeptical at first about physical therapy. I have been suffering with back pain since 2000. I didn’t believe in physical therapy back then. My TMJ pain started about two years ago. I have been struggling and trying to manage the pain myself, using sometimes ibuprofen and icy hot. Dr. Napenas talked me in to going to physical therapy and I decided to give it a try. I can’t thank them enough for all services I get at Carolinas rehabilitation in Matthews. My both therapist Tammy , who took me in for initial therapy, and, Monique, who took over and takes care of me now, are both were very caring and helpful! Monique is a very thoughtful person. I don’t feel rushed or unpleasant when I am there. Ms. Wilma, the ultrasound therapist, is a wonderful person and a professional therapist! She always gives extra super attention. She actually relates to your pain. I have met Cristy and Tammy, who are dry needling therapists. They are both very professional and know what they are doing. I am always welcome there!!!!
