You will only get a weekly update via email once a week. The only way to communicate is through email, so if your child doesn’t call, you don’t have a chance to reach out to them. Family reunification? More like family alienation. Anderson Health Services treats parents like lepers, keeping them at arm's length with zero family therapy sessions. Forget building bridges; they're busy erecting fortresses to isolate both children and families. Speaking of staff, imagine the warmth of a snowman on a scorching desert day. That's the emotional temperature you'll encounter here. They excel at antagonistic interactions, leaving parents feeling unheard, belittled, and utterly hopeless. Although, some of the cottage staff seem to be nice from the minimal interaction I encountered. As for therapy, picture dusty textbooks filled with generic solutions for problems as unique as snowflakes. Individual sessions are mere tick-boxes on a checklist, offering no personalized support or genuine progress towards treatment goals. It's like watching grass grow – painfully slow and utterly pointless. And the ultimate gut punch? Anderson Health Services systematically dismantled everything our family had painstakingly built at a previous placement. They wiped our progress clean with the emotional equivalent of a wet wipe, leaving us feeling lost and defeated. So, if you value family connection, personalized therapy, and a glimmer of hope, steer clear of Anderson Health Services. This facility is a stain on the mental health landscape, and sending your child there is akin to throwing them into a bottomless pit of despair. Thank the stars my child escaped this emotional wasteland. If you're considering Anderson Health Services, please, for the love of all that is good, run in the opposite direction. Your child, and your family, deserve far, far better. While there are many reviews here, it's important to note that most seem to be from employees, not actual clients. My child was an actual client/victim."
