"Dr. Wickes is absolutely wonderful! He’s very professional and takes the time to really get to know you in order to get to the root of your issues-with that being said, it doesn’t take multiple sessions to get there. He helped me within the first 10 minutes of my first session. He’s also timely in his response to his e-mail/phone calls. He is very direct while still being kind and gentle in his speech and I like that. I also preferred to have a female therapist but I was referred to him by someone very close to me and I feel very comfortable in his presence. It has been a relief to find him because I tried therapy before with two different people and it was surface level conversation with little to no feedback from the therapist but I’m so glad I gave therapy another shot with Dr. Wickes!"

"My husband & I went to see him on separate visits. Dr. W has said to me that if I don't like the way my husband acts I should just leave him & not be married any longer. He also tried to convince me that I should be angry at my parents for bringing me to this country to better my life. I told him that I don't blame my parents and he got upset & repeated himself over & over saying "I don't understand why you're not angry with them" and said that I have every right to be angry- told him NOPE. I never went back to him. Dr. W has told my husband that he doesn't have to discuss anything with me (as his wife!) and that he doesn't have to keep or make any promises to me. What kind of a therapist says that to people that he is supposedly helping? OR should be helping. That is not helping at all! He is unethical and unprofessional."

"Very strange person for psychologist! Talked about euthanizing his wife's cat while she was away. What possible outcome for the patient could be intended that happy statement. Enough said. Could say more but not necessary."

"Had 2 negative experiences with Kevin. 1. Had court ordered counseling due to a change of custody. He tried to take advantage of the situation and schedule sessions for every other day. 2. A couple of years later I was having girlfriend problems and gave him another chance. He advised my girlfriend to breakup with me on her first/initial consultation. Thanks buddy."
