"We had an absolutely terrible experience with Toi Jackson at this location. To start, our appointment was delayed as she was busy with another customer and when we did get our turn she was rushed because the office was closing soon. While filing, she said we did not qualify for the child tax credit. We argued with her because we knew we were eligible but she kept insisting so we filed without claiming it. The next day, we printed forms showing we qualify and went back into the building. She said she would file our taxes with claiming the CTC. We paid an additional $60 after their error, for who knows what, and were told it was fixed and given a new federal refund amount. 14 weeks later we still have not received the child tax credit. We tried to contact the IRS via phone, email, online portals for weeks. We finally got a representative who says our taxes were filed with the original information and a new file or amendment was not made with the child tax credit. This has been such a pain and is still not resolved. We will never be using HR block again. We had used their services for 5 years prior without issue with a different tax specialist."

"I was made to feel very welcome and very comfortable. My tax person explained everything in a step by step manner, so I could understand what she did. I really appreciated that."

"Had an appointment at 6. Came in early and was told they would be with me in a moment. At 6:10 was told somebody again would be with me in a moment (again had an appointment). I watched a person come in at around 6:25 walk in, greeted by the workers taken back and sat down. After being ignored I left at 6:40. What is the point of having an appointment, being ignored and then seeing people come in a half an hour after you and just walking in?"

"I went into the office to take advantage of the advance promotion of $3,000. I inquired if the promotion decision was credit based with the agent at my arrival and was informed that it was not. However, I received a denial within three hours because it stated "my credit profile could not verified." I was shocked because the agent lied to me which contributed to my denial. Of course, it would be denied because I have a block on my credit information. The manager Lori Clark lied for her associate Theresa Holmes and tried to convince me that I should of provided more information when asking initially about credit being apart of the criteria. I had to explain why I asked in the beginning and decided to use their services once I was assured that it was not credit based. If I was told that it was credit based, I would have called and had the block lifted. I feel like I was lied to and robbed by these people. I should have just filed my taxes online since I never had any major issues in the past. At least, I would have had nobody to blame for a mistake but myself; not licensed agents bating you to get your money!"
