"My experience here at this H&R Block was abysmal. I went on their app to have somebody help me and the first person who went to help me with my taxes, Ramesh doesn’t even take the time to write proper sentences, correct spelling and use correct grammar. I’m not an English major and I understand if English is not your first language but I know many people whose first language is not English and they are able to write correct concise sentences without spelling errors. Reading these emails he sent me was quite disturbing due to the fact I would be hiring this person to do my taxes. If you can’t even take the time to spell check your emails, how am I supposed to trust you to take the time to do my taxes correctly? It took me almost a whole month to get somebody else on my case, H&R Block helpline was very unhelpful. The next person who I had helping me, Theresa was okay at first and she seemed to be helpful at first but after a few weeks of dropping off documents she dropped my case and said it was too hard for her, she just said “Google someone to help you, good luck” she didn’t provide any help finding someone or anything. This was in the middle of March when tax accountants and attorneys are at their busiest and don’t have openings. I had a panic attack that day and a really hard time finding an accountant to do my case because it was so late in the tax season and I feel like I wasted so much time here at H&R Block. (granted my case was extra difficult like a 1 in a million type of thing it was very intricate and there are many moving parts that I needed help with, looking back at it this was way out of their scope to begin with) but I wish they had just said in the beginning “we can’t help you, here are some references to a tax attorney or accountant who CAN help” because this was awful, communication was terrible they never got my emails so I had to drop off documents constantly, the front desk would call me for something and I would call back the next day and they would have no idea why they called in the first place. The staff was very friendly and kind and if this was for just a normal tax return I’m sure everything would have been just fine but the fact that I wasted over a month of my time with these people is unacceptable, it shouldn’t take a month to find me a new tax pro and it shouldn’t take 3-4 weeks for this new pro (Theresa) to say “I give up”and the worst part was they completely left me stranded without any help or support and wasted valuable time in the height of tax season. I ended up finally finding a tax accountant who was willing to help, they charge out the wazoo but with the time that H&R Block has left me with, it was my only option. I’m never coming back here"

"Debbie, Your help was excellent but as I explained to you, the receptionist who answered the phone was terrible. It took a week and a half to speak with you since she did not spell my name or my phone correctly so any message you got from me was not correct so you were unable to return my call. Every one is hiring cheaper labor but at what expense for customer service. I am in a wheelchair ($100)to hire a van for transport which I will do for the signature but just getting to you was very frustrating. Better hiring guidelines is needed. Thanks for your help. It was nice talking to you ."

"Fast & efficient. My taxes were a little more complicated this year and Gigi helped me out tremendously and was able to deduct a lot more than I would have on my own. She was very friendly and did a fantastic job. I even got a coupon for being a 1st time customer. It was a little pricey even after the coupon but the amount of money Gigi saved me with the deductions was worth it."
