"This was not the therapist for our family. As soon as we moved to a different therapist there was a change in custody that should have happened previously. I think the court uses Katy for court ordered therapy because she will do whatever she can to keep a case out of the courtroom even if it’s not in the best interest of the child."

"Katy Flagler was rude and treated my family unprofessionally. My parents were going through a divorce and my brother and I were having a difficult time dealing with it. She saw everyone in my family in separate sessions. On multiple instances Katy Flagler would tell me that I wasn't telling the truth about something because "my brother didn't mention it in his therapy session". Which made no sense to me, because of course him and I aren't going to talk about the same exact things in our sessions. One time I told her about how my dad hit me, and she wrote down that it was my mom that did it. If she wound up presenting it to court like what was planned, my mom could have lost her kids and I would have had to live with my abusive dad. The breaking point was when I was in the waiting room and Katy Flagler walked outside with my mom to talk about evidence that my mom had. My mom didn't want to give her only copy of evidence to her because we didn't trust her. Katy Flagler proceeded to scream at my mom loud enough that I could hear it from inside the building. After we stopped going to her for therapy, my dad continued to go to her. Even though she would tell me and my brother that she would do everything in her power to keep us safe from our dad, we found out that she was telling my dad the same exact thing. Not only that, but she told my mom that she is convinced my dad is a covert narcissist, and then proceeded to say that she liked working with him because he is "charming". She watched me, my mom, and my brother, break down because of the abuse my dad put us through, and yet she sided with him on every point. The way she conducts her therapy is crude as well. She would almost never say anything to me or anyone in the sessions. No reassurance, no advice, no coping skills. The whole session was just her writing things down. She didn't even do a good job at that. Two instances of abuse that my dad did, she said that my mom was the one that did it. I am so glad that I went to another therapist after her. It took a while to undo the damage that Katy Flagler did."
