"The owner is very knowledgeable. You can tell she knows dogs and their needs. She was able to fit my dog in on short notice and for the number of days I needed. Every other place was either booked up or could not accommodate also, Gold Grove had the most reasonable price. We all love our pets but a lot of places add a lot of fluff to jack up their prices. Now no place is perfect the only minor things is it is a little bit out of the way but it is not hard to find. Your GPS will take you right there. If you need a place that has 24 hour personal doggy Webcams, super deluxe doggy condos, or that gives the doggies artesian sparkly water, then this is not the place for your dog. If you want a good caring reasonably priced boarder then give these guys a shot. This is my go-to boarder and the one I recommend to others."

"My dogs stayed at Goldgrove for the first time last week. I try to avoid boarding my dogs if possible, as I worry about them the entire time, and I know it can be very stressful for them, but I felt so good about leaving them at Goldgrove, and was really impressed with Tammy. I believe she is one of two owners, and they both live right next door to the boarding facility. Not only is Tammy very friendly, but she knows everything there is to know about dogs and dog behavior. They have been in business over 25 years. Tammy gave me a great rate for my two dogs 3 night stay and trimmed their nails for me. Big difference in my female pit mix's behavior from when I dropped her off to when I picked up... she was growling low, trying to find a way to escape, pulling backwards on the leash, not wanting to go inside, and would hang her head, never looking at Tammy, which is her typical behavior when I take her to vet as well, but by the time I returned several days later, she was her usual happy, tail-wagging self, seeking attention from Tammy and had obviously grown very fond of her. Very happy to have found Goldgrove Pet Resort! Boarding my dogs in the future will be so much less stressful ...both for them and me!"
