"Shady and dishonest. Not good traits to have for a notary, in my opinion. As for his insurance, for the last couple years we have been paying $3,000 for our homeowners with him. He sent us a bill for $5,000 this past year. We called around and found better insurance. They added $400,000 worth of coverage and we paid $3,000 for it. We were told by other insurance companies that we had below basic coverage with Dan and that even if we didn't choose that insurance, we definitely need to get better coverage regardless."
