"Just had our taxes done for the 2021 year. How can they charge $350 to prepare your taxes & expect to stay in business? That is above & beyond ridiculous! Recieved a letter from the IRS & the one who done our taxes for us messed up on our return. Losing $600 + $350 for them to file our taxes. Do not use this tax office it's a rip off!!!"

"My husband and I filed taxes in February. As of today still not received our refund. We received a letter from IRS needing information. We was told by the person that did our taxes, the office manager, not to worry about it. Emails and phone calls went unanswered and not returned. After contacting IRS ourselves, we was told that we in fact had to send the needed documents in. If we had not worried about like we was told, we would owe the IRS. We also found out that "Peace of Mind" audit protection was not included in our fee, like we was lead for it to be. This is unprofessional and down right dirty. Now we have to wait 90 days for our refund after waiting 4 months already. Money was also taken by H&R Block that we had no idea was released by the IRS until we contacted them. We will not be using them again. Emails still not responded to or phone calls returned as of yet."

"Transparent prices and not wanting to be shocked after the fact with your taxes.... quotes from the website yet my husband and I dropped off our tax papers and they ask us if we wanted to pay up front or have it taken out of our return and I responded with well that depends how much is it and was told they wouldn’t know until they were done!!! Then they call me an hour or 2 later saying it will be $250!!! What?!?!?! I have NEVER paid more than $95 in the 4+years we went when Angela was there and now we get stuffed with $250?!?! So we said we would just come get our documents and go elsewhere as we couldn’t afford $250 and was rudely told well they are here just come get them. And then called back not 5 minutes later saying I should have told you it will be $50 because I have already prepared them. I go to school for this so I have to be paid for my service even though you are Deciding to not use it. Highly disappointed in the lack of professionalism and common courtesy we have received and will NEVER go back to an H&R Block! If I knew how to report them to a corporate I would for the false advertising of transparent pricing at least!!!"
