"Dr. Alvarez was wonderful. I had to be squeezed in for an appointment as we found out at 37 weeks that my baby was breech. They warned me I may have to wait for a little bit but I was still seen quickly. Dr. Alvarez didn’t rush through my appointment at all and answered my million questions about a breech baby, how I can try to turn baby, and an ECV. He was recommended by the ultrasound tech as the best doctor to have the ECV done by (as well as another Arbor OBGYN and nurses at Rex later on) as he has the best success rate. He was willing to go above and beyond and stay past his 24-hour shift at the hospital to assist with my ECV that was shortly after his shift. Unfortunately we didn’t have success. When I broke down crying afterwards, he showed compassion and care and talked to me offering empathy and reassurance about a c-section. He is a great doctor!"

Dr. Alvarez stepped into this position and he was so kind, knowledgeable, attentive and caring it made the transition seamless. Everyone here is so kind and helpful from the front desk, to the nurses that you see during each step of your appointment. Dr. Alvarez takes time to listen, to answer any questions and is very personable. He takes a genuine interest in not only your health but he cares about who you are as a person. I would highly recommend Dr. Alvarez. I fully trust his medical expertise and trust him and any recommendations he would make for my health."
