"You CAN NOT make an appointment online! It directs you to call your local agency. Phone lines are busy and it hangs up automatically. You’ll wait forever to get a representative. Then when you get a rep they say 30-60 days out to book an appointment. You can’t just show up the doors are LOCKED!! The IRS has you going in circles. No help what so ever."

"I've waited on hold for an hour or so, got in touch with a representative & then they hung up on me when i began to ask him my question. "Fast, efficient and pleasant experience at the local IRS office on February 14th 2019. I was the recommended 15 minutes early for my appointment, went through security sat down and waited my turn. The Security Officer/Intake officer was so pleasant and hilarious to converse with. I watched her try so hard to help people who walked in without appointments (she is NOT an IRS agent) , They also have computers in the lobby for your personal use with IRS questions. I went back for my appointment on time and the agent was also very nice and efficient, I was out the door in 30 minutes. FYI: Make appointment... Go 15 Minutes early.. Have all your documents.."
