"Please believe all the 1 star reviews. Between the quality of the shoes, the return policies and the customer service. I would rather walk barefoot on broken glass in the streets of Manhattan than buy and wear shoes from this store."

"Bought sandals over the summer at the store, they broke after 2 months of wear. I paid for repairs twice and broke 2 More times. I visited the store and asked for either Dolce Vita to repair the shoes, or a return or credit. I didn’t have my receipt, they said they could look up my order and offer a credit on the current sale price of the shoes. I waited for 15 minutes, was repeatedly ignored, and then told they mysteriously couldn’t find my order (lies, I showed the charge on my credit card statement), and there was nothing they could do. Shoes are bad quality, and the policies are worse. Won’t shop here again."

"I had my eye on a specific pair of boots from the website and wanted to try them on. I was greeted as soon as I entered the store and helped by a very friendly associate. The store doesn't carry the style I wanted so she found a similar style in my size for me to try on and ordered the style I wanted to be delivered to my home. It was a very seamless and pleasant experience. Taking off one star because the styles and sizes available in the store seemed to be limited."

"Terrible customer service. Bought 2 pairs of shoes on a Saturday, realized they were sold to me WORN (they were gifts so I did not try them on in store), tried to exchange them 3 days later for unworn pairs and they were out of stock and was told by the manager she couldn't do anything for me as it was 3 days later (I live in NJ and didn't check the shoes until Monday evening). I've tried to contact the store numerous times and they have not returned a single voicemail. DV customer service online is also useless as they said I had to go directly through the store. Despite DV customer service forwarding my emails to the store and asking them to contact me directly it's been 2 weeks and I've heard nothing. Would never recommend Dolce Vita to anyone ever again!"
