"Dr. Maydew was awesome! She was very diligent and caring. I went to Cary OB/GYN for my first pap smear, and was quite nervous on how it would go. All the staff were friendly, but Maydew made me feel comfortable and safe in a situation I would usually feel awkward in. She explained each step of the procedure and was adamant that if I had any issues or pain during it, to communicate that with her. She also asked many questions to ensure the best quality care and kept conversation up to ease my nerves. The nurse that was with me prior to Dr. Maydew coming in (unfortunately I can't remember her name) was very sweet and was willing to hold my hand during the procedure. Overall, it was a great experience and I definitely plan on coming back in the coming years - I felt heard, seen, and respected. Thank you!"
