"Great company and group of advisors that work here."
"I bought a short term disability policy from agent Blaize Dietz in Raleigh, Nc. I made sure he knew that I was buying with the intention of extending my family and would need assistance once out of work. I was assured that short term disabilty was almost always used for this and was successful in providing financial assistance for new families. I filed my claim upon the birth of my child and he is almost two months old. I have called the office and spoken the my claims agent, Jane numerous times as well as supervisors and anybody else I can get on the phone. I have been held up at every turn. This policy was to keep my family afloat and now we are drowning in bills while they scramble for an excuse not to honor my policy. Today I was called and told that I was "approved" but would receive NO money bc my time written out of work was 64 days and they only start payment after 90 days. I did not read this ANYWHERE in my policy and I will be taking further action. I bought a short term disability claim from him under the false understanding that pregnancy claims always receive pay outs as long as no fraud has been commited. I now am out of the money I have faithfully paid for the policy with no plan b as to how to pay the mounting bills that I was assured the policy would cover. Also I would greatly appreciate receiving the back pay compensation from my approved short term disability policy, given the extremely shading sales tactics used to coerce me into buying this policy."
