"Went to her for years for endometriosis. She told me that I had an IUD and there was nothing else that could be done. Over time I had more and more pain and she told me that everyone has pain, I found a specialist in Georgia and he wanted me to have my IUD removed prior to surgery. I went to Dr. Schindler as she was my local obgyn. She removed my IUD and I explained what I learned and what my surgeon said. She was surprisingly excited for me and SHE asked to do my post op (so I didn't have to travel back to Georgia). When time finally came for my post op with Dr. Schindler, she acted as if I should have let her do the surgery - which she never even mentioned as an option to me. She never checked my abdominal incisions but did palpate my abdomen over my clothes and ON my incisions. She condescendingly told me the complications I might have, as if I'd seen some hack of a surgeon instead of a globally known specialist and as if he didn't tell me what complications were possible. I started the appointment thinking she'd be happy for me but I was blindsided by her anger, that I had dared see another doctor, that I couldn't verbally defend my decision, research, and two years I spent trying to get actual help. I left that appointment in pain and had to go back on my prescription pain killers. I tried contacting the office, spoke to the office manager who claimed to care and said she'd get back to me but she never did. I ended up having stage 4 endometriosis and needed a hysterectomy from my Georgia doctor because I'd been told for so long that an IUD was all that could be done to help me."

"To anyone looking for an OB/Gyn, I would highly recommend Dr. Schindler. She has an excellent bedside manner and I feel like she genuinely cares for her patients. We saw her for all of my wife's prenatal care and she delivered our baby boy. She was very informative and took time to explain everything to us and answer our many questions. It was a great experience and my wife loves her. I would give her 10 stars if I could."

"This doctor seriously is lacking in empathy, professionalism and bedside manner. I experienced a miscarriage and felt she acted very cold and even attempted to joke with the nurse performing my vaginal sonogram. While I lay there with blood and tissue literally falling out of me. She then went on to comment on a large blood clot I passed and asked me if I'd like to see it. I was so taken aback at her coldness I could only shake my my head no, since I was laying on the table sobbing."
