"When I was in middle school and I had herd the horrible rumors of Rolesville high I was horrified to go here. After a while though I got used to it. It's not that bad to handle. You just need to be strong or you will fall by the way side. Im giving this school a 2 star not becuse of the princible or ALL of the teachers and students. Im giveing this school a 2 star because overall its not a good learning enviornmnet. For some reason people who dont care about school and get Fs go into honars classes and can be quite a distraction. SOME not all but some teachers are bad at teaching or dont teach at all. In fact a teacher of mine called me an inappropriate and insulting name. I like the princible but school spirit and drive is low. Know seems to want to succeed (in my class atleast). Your not alowed to have your own opinion unless its democratic. People will jump all over you and treat you like trash just for being happier then they are. EVERYONE IS FAKE. You can't trust people. But I suppose you deal with that at every school. Long story short compared to Heritage or even Wakeforest, Rolesville is not the best place to be."
"this school is complete trash. i got assaulted by some mexican dude. i didnt fight back or even touch him yet i got ISS for 1 day and the kid only got 1 day of OSS. yet if it was me that hit the kid i would of been charged with a hate crime. the school is full of racist and nasty people. they still havent fixed the 4th floor window after 3 years i mean its a safety hazard."
"Please don’t listen to all of these outrageous disgruntled student reviews. My son has been attending Rolesville high school for two years and has had a truly wonderful experience there. Since the new principal took over, many things have changed. The administration and the staff have been nothing short of amazing. He has had several teachers who have truly inspired him to want to do better and he’s doing amazingly well. They have wonderful coaches on the athletic teams that try to include everyone and make it wonderful experience for all. Please don’t put much merit in the reviews that you see on here as they truly do not speak for the school."
"I agree with a lot of people on and about what they say about Rolesville High School. When i first started coming here I was really happy because I thought this school would be better than Millbrook or any other school out there, but now being a year into the school year I wish i did go to Millbrook because this school sucks ass. The teachers can care less about you. If you're in gym and you break your foot all they do is tell you to shake it off that you are okay. What happened to someone caring. Yeah I don't mean baby us but if we are in real pain show that you care. Also these teachers dont know how to grade papers. These teachers "lose" your work so you can get a bad grade and because we are in high school we need to be the one talking to the teacher but when you do it a couple of times over and over and over again it's time to bring in the parents. These teachers dont realize how much effort us kids actually put into our work and our parents know that we all are hard workers and are smart enough to get straight A's but because the teachers hardly teach us and some how loses our work our grades tank. I know someone who had all A's and then dropped to all F's because she isn't learning anything and she goes for tutoring and sometimes they dont help because she has to do things for them so she completely doesn't know what is going on in class or what she is being "taught". And also these teachers say you can come ask them a question but all they do is laugh in your face and tell you to ask someone else or that they just explained it.Us kids sometimes dont understand thats why we ask. Be better teachers please. Or hire new ones. These teachers suck. Yeah everyone says the same thing Millbrook and Southeast but I swear on my life these teachers are worse than those. Also you get these kids that try to be someone they aren't. Just stop be who you are not someone else."
"I honestly thought this school was gonna get hyped up, but when I actually came I realized that it’s all a cover and most of the teachers discriminate certain students for no good reason and only treat some kids like normal students while the rest are expected to kiss the other teachers hand in order to win respect, but get us in trouble when we try to stand up for ourselves, making us look bad in front of the teachers, parents, and everyone else who kisses up to the teachers. These teachers are really unmotivational and don't try to help us succeed and make good choices. They think of us as little kids and don’t realize that some of us are going to college in 2 or 3 years, and even people who are going in 1 year. We need to be prepared for the future and know what we're going up against. It's their job to do that. That's the whole reason we go to school. We're the reason they have a job. Without us, they wouldn't have a school to teach. And school isn't only for learning Math, English, Biology, and History. It's about learning more about life and the choices we should make now that will influence what happens to us in the future. They think just cuz they have a higher rank than us, then they can tell us whatever to do and we have to do it without argument, even if it will get us in trouble or give us a bad reputation. The teachers need to be more considerate to the kids who try to be nice and reasonable but are doing the right thing by standing up for themselves. I would personally not like to get falsely accused and have to stick with that. If someone thinks I did something and blames me for it, getting me in trouble, I'm going to stand up for myself doing whatever is necessary to let the people know that i am really just trying to make a change in the teacher's minds. And what really pisses me off the most is the fact that if someone does ONE thing bad, the teacher will hold it on him till he dies. This happens to me all the time and I get in trouble all the time for standing up for myself. I’m not scared if a teacher threatens to write me up or call an administrator cuz at the end of the day it'll be their loss when I explain what really happened from a different point of view, not just from someone who people think is always right. They don't realize that many people try to change them and let them know how they feel, but the teachers don't care and keep going cuz u know, teachers are always right. And the fact that what they teach us doesn't always help and fail to explain it the right way. I don't think I should have to go over my notes multiple times just to understand what the teacher was supposed to help me understand. Tutoring isn't always the answer and should never be the answer if it's the teacher's fault for being uninformed on how to teach. Another thing is although a variety of bad and dangerous things happen at this school, all the teachers do are cover it up and say nothing happened. All these teachers think that covering up the danger that is happening all around us is protecting us from the panic (and trying to give the school a better reputation), but really it's hurting us cuz they can't hide it forever and when it comes we won’t be ready and won't know how to protect ourselves. These teachers need a new mindset on how to prepare us for the future. They need to think of us and how we feel in certain situations. Well u know, that's just my two cents on how i feel bout Rolesville High School."
