"Not as good as the old tevere that was in the city. Service was good. Food was good but was expecting better"
"This is a hidden gem in Brooklyn. Wonderful drinks food and allot of privacy"
"What a amazing restaurant. Amazing staff amazing food. I might have to say one of the top nyc places"
"Everything at Trastevere was delicious. We've been here a few times now and haven't been disappointed. The risotto alla bolognese is out of this world."
"Really cool experience in Brooklyn if you're looking for a fancy meat restaurant with a different type of vibe. Décor is beautifully done, and the menu is heavy on the pasta, chicken, lamb and veal. Although they do have a ribeye steak option, this is not a steakhouse. They seem to pride themselves on a lighter style, so you don't feel terribly stuffed when you leave. This restaurant is located in the spot where the old Café Venezia used to be, and is fairly large, complete with a second floor equipped with some very large tables for big groups. The menu is a play on the old Tevere restaurant which existed on the upper east side in Manhattan. The downstairs has dim lighting and is nice for a romantic date. They do serve wine but are waiting for their liquor license for a full bar. Appetizers were great. Highly recommend the fried artichokes, which were both crunchy and juicy with a lemon twist. The truffle risotto was extremely flavorful and I liked that there wasn't so much liquid/cream. The salads are done well, and it's nice that most main courses come with salads, i.e. the breaded veal and lamb chops. I liked the Bolognese and lasagna, they tend to know what they are doing with tomato-based dishes like meatballs as well (although it was weird that it came with a ton of sauce but no spaghetti). The desserts were excellent, the napoleon was really nice and the chocolate fondue was very much liquid though. Remember that these are all non-dairy. All in all, definitely worth checking out!"
