"I am 58 yrs old and I have had many pap smears in my day but none as painful as this one. I told her that it was the most painful one ever but it did no good. I’m still in pain and I had the procedure 2 days ago. I think it’s time for her to go home before she traumatizes other women."

"Someone needs to bring a lawsuit against this woman. I went into labor around 10 pm and had to use Dr. Leisy as she was the OB on call. This woman was awful, zero bedside manner and refused the wishes of my husband and I on delaying our baby boy’s cord clamping. She was sarcastic, rude and had to be told multiple times to put down the clamp. Almost as soon as we looked down at our boy to admire the new life we brought into the world, she clamped the cord and told us that the blood that was in the cord wouldn’t have drained back into him anyway. She is a disgrace to Parkwest hospital and was a nightmare to work with. Avoid this horrible doctor at all costs."

"The experience I had with Dr. Leisy has created lasting trauma and pain in my life. For my first gynecological exam ever, I had to wait for over two hours to be seen. 40 minutes of that time were spent in a dressing gown in a freezing cold exam room. The nurses were unprofessional and Dr. Leisy’s bedside manner was nonexistent. She wouldn’t explain the process of my Pap smear ahead of time but she made sure to try to sell me on birth control that I don’t need for at least 20 minutes. During my exam I started to feel a horrible shooting pain (probably because of her long fake nails), started to cry and asked her to stop the exam. She refused and said “it will hurt less if you just relax”. She repeated that phrase at least five times throughout the procedure. The pain became excruciating and I started to wail, begging her to stop the procedure, and yelling for help. No help came. When it was over I couldn’t speak. She laughed and said “it was over before that last little outburst. You’re fine.” And left. As I left the exam room, I realized nurses and patients had gathered to stare at me and see what all the commotion was about. They pointed and whispered as I left the office. I am not, nor have I ever been sexually active. This experience has caused nightmares and vivid flashbacks, creating problems during other medical procedures. Over a year later I still find myself flashing back and crying at least once every two months. If I could pursue some sort of action against this woman for assault I would in a heartbeat just to encourage an early retirement. Do not bring young girls or anyone who is inexperienced with penetrative contact to this doctor. Do not go to this doctor if you have any form of anxiety or emotional difficulty. Do not go to this doctor ever if you can help it. The biggest mistake I made was not walking out as soon as something felt wrong."
