"Dr Lavelle is an amazing doctor. She is incredibly knowledgeable with all aspects of urology. She is up to date on the latest treatments and will keep you informed of any new treatments coming out. She truly wants the best for her patients. She is also aware of how much a lot of the medications cost and considers this with your treatment plan. She takes excellent notes and reviews what you have tried prior on your follow up visits. Her nursing staff is very kind and caring. They return calls in a timely manner unlike a lot of doctor offices. The front desk staff is friendly. I’ve had only positive experiences every time I’ve been to this practice."

"I seen Dr lavelle when she worked at UT. I went to her with bladder issues and needed a lift. She did a bunch test on me. When I came back for my follow up to go over my test she was the rudest Dr I've ever encountered in all my 40+ years. She told me if she did my surgery I'd have to catheterize myself for the rest of my life, my bladder didn't work right and I needed to lose weight! I left there defeated. I went to another Dr, Dr Shrewsbury, had my surgery and my bladder works perfectly fine. I am so glad I did NOT let her touch me and look at this as a true Blessing, God sure was watching out for me. Beware and get a second opinion before letting her cut on you! Her rudeness, attitude and lack of empathy I have not forgotten in 5 years and never will!"

"I live out in knoxville,TN, but come out to Maryville to Blount Memorial hospital to see my Doctor's. I had an appt to Dr. Lavelle on Wed. June 26th. I was 14 late due to Alcoa traffic so they cancelled my appointment. On my way home my husband called to reschedule me, she said they had a cancellation for Thursday June 27th at 10 am, so we took it. This morning we left 40 mins earlier, well today they shut down Alcoa hwy to one lane. Needless to say we made it there and parked with 5 mins to get upstairs, so I sent my husband to sign me in since I just had knee replacement surgery I walk slow. I get all the way up there and they said they can't see me. We had 2 mins before their 10 min. Late rule. There was no sign in sheet and the ladies seen my husband standing there and left him there. They said come back in the afternoon and I said I don't live out here, and we can't come back. She keep saying lower your voice, the office is about 10 x 10 so everyone is going to hear our conversation. So I told her I just had knee replacement surgery and I didn't want to be late so I sent my husband up to sign me in. She then said you were to be here 15 mins before 10AM. I then said no one told us that, when we made the appointment. I then said to my husband what the hell, she said I refuse to see you and then said I was going to let you see here later this morning. I said no you said come back this afternoon which we couldn't. She then said I am calling security. so I said I want your name and a number to call and complain on your office, she said no. So I told her I would get it down stairs. So, now the Dr. Lavelle had no ideal what really happened and now refuses to see me as a patient. I then put in a complaint to the main hospital. And writing this as a review. I would give them a zero but it wouldn't let me. Very RUDE office people and they waste patients time and they won't let your spouse sign you in. Very disappointed in this office and I NEVER had a problem with seeing Dr. Lavelle in Farragut, TN. like this."
